Mr. Portt is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in business development and sales. Over the past decade, he has been working with local governments to provide innovative software and consulting solutions that streamline their operations. During his tenure, he has held several key positions, including Customer Success Manager, Account Manager, and Corporate Strategist, where he has helped cities and counties navigate the complex world of grants management. In the last three years, Mr. Portt has honed his expertise in indirect cost recovery, successfully assisting municipal and tribal governments, such as the Osage Nation, to recover millions of dollars in unclaimed indirect costs, which were returned directly to their general funds. He was recently appointed as the Manager of Indirect Cost Recovery Services at HdL Companies, where he is responsible for providing guidance and support to both current and prospective clients in this challenging area.  Mr. Portt holds degrees from Arizona State University and Young Harris College.
